1 John 5:18 says [We know that everyone having been born of God
does not continue to sin, but the One having been begotten of
God (Jesus) protects him, and the evil one does not touch
him.]
You need Jesus to protect you from the evil angels. But Jesus
desires your cooperation. So, keep reading to learn how to keep the devil
off you.
Jesus said in John 10:10 [The thief (referring to fallen angels)
comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they (the people)
may have life and have it to the full.]
Jesus’ blood is the one and only sacrifice that possessed
the power to remove all the sins of mankind, all the way back from Adam to the
last man born. And God’s redemptive plan to send Jesus to take upon
Himself the sins of the world and die in our place was known to God before
he even created the world.
Ephesians 1:4 says [For he chose us in him before the
creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love]
1 Peter 1:20-22 says [He (Jesus) was chosen before the creation of the world,
but was revealed in these last times for your sake —
Through him you believe in God, who raised him
from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in
God. You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the
truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters.
Love each other deeply with all your heart.]
John 6:29 says [Jesus told them, “This is the only work God
wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”]
Romans 10:16,17 says [But they have not all obeyed the
gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has
heard from us?” So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.] Very important note: Do you
see how this verse ties the words “obeyed” and “believed” together?
James 2:18-20 says [But someone will say, “You have faith; I
have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by
my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons
believe that–and shudder. But do you want to know, O foolish man, that
faith without deeds is dead?]
So, know that believing equals obedience. Or to put it
another way, if you are a true believer, you will obey God’s laws. Again,
1 John 3:4 says [Everyone who sins breaks God’s law; in fact, sin is
lawlessness.]
Know this: No one can drive out a demon (fallen angel) out
of a demon possessed person or perform a miracle, in the name of Jesus, with
sin in their life. I will remove all doubt about this later. For
now, I will give you one proof text: Psalm 66:18, 19 [If I regard
iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But certainly, God
has heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.]
Know that God is the one who performs the miracles when we pray,
but He does not hear sinners.
Referring to Judgment Day, Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-28 [Many will
say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in
your name drive out demons and in your name perform many wonderful
works?’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me,
you who break God’s laws.’ —
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and
puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the
rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat
against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the
rock.
But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them
into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain
came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house,
and it fell with a great crash.”]
So, we just read when upon Judgement Day, God will say,
(to many people who evidently cast out devils and performed
many wonderful works in the name of Jesus) “I never knew you. Get
away from me, you who break God’s laws.” But, since God does not hear
sinners, those people must have at some point lived in obedience to God’s laws,
otherwise God would not have heard their prayers and performed the miracles
through them.
Note, that God will say to them, “I never knew you.”
Friend, please listen to me, that is not what you want to hear God say to you
on Judgement Day! Because that means you are going to spend eternity in
hell with the fallen angels and all the other damned. And I will prove to
you that hell is a real place of eternal torment. So, do not listen to
the crowd who says there is no hell, because Jesus said the crowd is going
there.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:13,14 [“Enter through the narrow gate.
For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter
through it. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult,
and only a few ever find it.]
Many = crowd. Few = few.
Friend, I found the narrow gate! So, please please read on!
2 Corinthians 5:21-6:2 says [God made him (Jesus) who had no
sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God. As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s
grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in
the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the
time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.]
So, when is a good time to believe on the Lord Jesus and ask God
to send His Holy Spirit to come to live in your heart? When is a good
time to ask God to forgive you for breaking His law and help you turn away from
sin? The Bible says: Now. Because no one is promised
tomorrow, not even your next heart beat! And when you do, God said in
Jeremiah 31:33 [I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write
it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.]
In Ezekiel 36:25-27 God said [I will sprinkle clean water on
you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your
impurities and from all your idols. And I will give you
a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you.
I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive
heart. And I will put my Spirit in you and move
you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.]
Who else wants to receive eternal life, and have the awesome
privilege of living forever with the God of the universe who owns it all and
loves you so much that He would suffer more than any man and die a brutal death
to pay the penalty of your sin?
Jesus spoke to his disciples and said in John 14:1-6 [“Do not
let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. There is
more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have
told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come back and take you to be with
me that you also may be where I am. —
You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas
said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.]
The crowd may tell you that there are many ways to heaven and
that any religion will do. But this is not what Jesus said, nor is He
about religion. He just wants a personal relationship with you.
Many religions have been invented. Do you wonder why? Revelation 12:9
says [The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil,
or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the
earth, and his angels with him.]
Isaiah 53:6 says [We all, like sheep, have gone
astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him
(Jesus) the iniquity of us all.] John 3:16-21 says [For God
so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God
did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever
does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the
name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the
world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were
evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the
light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices
the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has
done has been accomplished in God.”]
God gave the dominion of the earth to Adam. But Satan
tempted him with the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of
life. And Adam yielded to the temptation. When he did, he forfeited
the dominion of the earth over to Satan – Matthew 4:8,9.
But everything Adam lost Jesus regained – Matthew 28:18,
Revelation 11:15. Hebrews 4:15 says [For we do not have a high priest who
is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been
tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin.]
This is one of my favorite prophecy verses: Revelation
20:10 [And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning
sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They
will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.] This is the fate
and future of all fallen angels.
So, remind them of it on a regular basis, as Satan no doubt has
a fallen angel/s assigned to you, to hinder anything good that God wants to do
in your life. By the way, this is the fate of everyone who is also
deceived by a fallen angel: They will be tormented day and night for
ever and ever.
Lucifer convinced one third of the holy angels to rebel with
him. Imagine how much easier it is for the devil to persuade men!
Think about the billions of people following a false religion… Plus, there are
millions of so-called Christians who claim to be in Christ and think they are
going to heaven, when they are not. Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 [The gateway to
life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever
find it.]
Jesus said in Matthew 7:22 [Many will say to me on
that day (Judgment Day), ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in
your name drive out demons and in your name perform many wonderful works and
miracles?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart
from me, you workers of lawlessness.’] So, please keep
reading if you want to make sure you go to heaven.
You might be asking: “Why should I keep reading? I already
know this stuff.” So, let me just tell you now. Some people will
read this article and learn how to effectively utilize the faith they have for
the first time in order to receive from God everything they
ask. Some people will read this article and learn how to escape hell and
receive eternal life for the first time.
And some will be convinced that it is God’s will that they share
this article with as many people as possible, given the fact that Jesus
commands them to make disciples of everyone who has never heard the good news
about Jesus (Mark 16:15), or suffer the eternal fate of the man who buried his
one talent (Mark 25:30).
And by the time they finish reading, they will be convinced that
sharing this article is the best way to accomplish that.
Know that you are being discipled to disciple others. Ezekiel
33:8 says [If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you
do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall
die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.]
Do you think the above verse means that if you neglect to warn
the wicked and they die in their sins that you will suffer the same eternal
fate as they? Read Matthew 25:14-30 and pay particular attention to verse
30.
Again, I repeat some things for a reason.
Ephesians 2:8 says [God saved you by his grace when you
believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from
God.] So, you see, that it’s by faith you are saved! How does
faith come? Romans 10:17 says [Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the
word of God.] What method did God choose to save the world? 1
Corinthians 1:21 says [Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would
never know him through human wisdom, he has used the foolishness of preaching to
save those who believe.
Thus, Romans 10:14,15 says [How, then, can they call on the one
they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of
whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without
someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless
they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring
good news!”]
There is an endtime prophecy in Joel 2:28-32 which says [“And
afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons
and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men
will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour
out my Spirit in those days (this happened in Acts 2:16.) —
I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and
fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the
moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the
LORD. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD
will be saved]
Long before Jesus was born, there were over 100 prophecies about
Him, including these: Isaiah 7:14 says [Therefore the Lord himself will give
you a sign: The virgin (Mary) will conceive and give birth to a son, and will
call him Immanuel (being interpreted means God with us).] Isaiah 9:6 says
[For to us a child (Jesus) is born, to us a son is given, and the government
will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty
God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.]
You see, Jesus is the Mighty God (with us), the Everlasting
Father. Jesus is also the Great I Am. Jesus said in John 8:58
[“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I
am!”] You may be wondering: Exactly how big is
God?
Jeremiah 23:24 says [Who can hide in secret places so that I
cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?”
declares the LORD.] Jesus said to the woman at the well [God is spirit,
and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” You see, the
Spirit of God is everywhere!
You may be wondering: Is there any other God in this vast
universe? Well, since the Spirit of God is everywhere, He would certainly
be the one to ask. But He knew you would ask, so He has already answered
that for you.
God said in Isaiah 45:5 [I am the LORD, and there is no
other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though
you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place
of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the
LORD, and there is no other.]
And it is certainly nice to know that the most powerful being in
the universe is good. Psalm 34:8 says [Taste and see that the LORD
is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.] You
might ask: How much does God know about me personally? Jesus said in Luke
12:7 [Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid;
you are worth more than many sparrows.] And, you know that you lose a
certain number of hairs every day, yet He keeps a constant tally on you.
Think about it…
You might ask: Does He know what I am thinking? Psalm
94:11 says [the LORD knows the thoughts of man.] You might ask: How
about, does God think about me? Psalm 139:17,18 says [How precious to me are
your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand– when I awake, I am still with you.]
Okay, you say. So, God thinks a lot of thoughts about me,
but what kind of thoughts? Jeremiah 29:11 says [For I know the thoughts
that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to
give you an expected end.]
Maybe you would like to know: If I place my faith and
trust in Him, will He ever leave me? Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 [I am
with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.] Jesus said in
John 10:11 [“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for
the sheep.] That is how much He loves you! And you can learn a
whole lot more about Him when you read the Holy Bible that He inspired.
Plus, I am giving you many Bible verses and explaining them. So, please read
on.
I am trying to build your faith with many Bible verses before
you get distracted. Because Romans 10:17 says: Faith comes
by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. And because Ephesians 2:8,9
says [For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and
this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Salvation is not a
reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about
it.] This is unlike any of the countless religions whose preachers are
under God’s curse.
Galatians 1:8 says [But even if we or an angel from heaven
should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under
God’s curse!] You may be asking: what exactly is the gospel? It is
the message concerning Christ, the coming kingdom of God, and salvation for
every man.
The gospel is what God preached to our first parents in the
Garden of Eden, that Eve’s seed would crush the head of the serpent that would
bruise his heel. It was like God was saying, “You made a grave mistake, but I
have a backup plan. Because I don’t want to live without you.” In fact,
He died for you. Then, He raised His own body from the grave!
Jesus said in John 10:18 [No one can take my life from me. I
sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down and also to
take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”] God preached the
gospel again to Abraham who is known as the father of our faith.
Galatians 3:8 says [Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by
faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be
blessed through you.”] Meaning, Jesus would come from the bloodline of
Abraham. Below, I underlined the specifics of the gospel and emboldened
the key points.
1 Corinthians 15:3-11 says [For what I received I passed
on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins
according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the
third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and
then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the
brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though
some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one born at the wrong time.
For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an
apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God,
I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder
than all of them–yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is
what you believed.]
Again, it is preaching that God chose to be the method whereby
He would save the world. Thus, Mark 16:14-15 says [Later Jesus appeared
to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and
their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. He
said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.]
CAUTION: If you fail to read sufficiently now, you will
most likely NEVER see what you have been missing ALL your life.
I hope you have enjoyed learning the basics of the Christian
faith. If so, you are sure to be blessed by the deeper things of
God that will soon follow.
Read on to grow your faith in the everlasting God and in His
ability to use you mightily in the earth today!
